Services
Medication Assistance
We assist with medication if required and our staff are trained to provide the assistance required thereby ensuring those attending continue to take their medication as prescribed.
Bathing
We have a fully accessible bath offer a bathing service for those that wish to have a bath whilst at the centre or who are having difficulty at home with bathing and wish to come in for this specifically. Small Charge applies
Refreshments
Our centre provides the choice of a home cooked two course lunch each day together with snacks and refreshments throughout the day.
All dietary needs are catered for.
Chiropody
We have a professional chiropodist attend the centre every 6/8 weeks for those who wish to have their feet pampered. Small charge applies
Hairdressing
We have a professional hairdresser attend the centre twice a week for those who wish to have their hair washed, cut, set or permed. Small charge applies
Day Services
Our services can be accessed directly or via referral from local authorities and/or other voluntary organisations.
Members can attend as many times a week as they wish/need and for the whole day, a half day or just a few hours depending on their needs.
Activities Programme
Our programme provides mental and physical stimulation and
is fun to participate in. It provides members with the opportunity to maintain and/or learn new skills should they wish to do so and remain active and independent.
Daily activities include gentle chair based exercises to help improve or maintain mobility and up to a choice of six activities throughout the day .
Members can choose what they wish to do on a day to day basis and they can participate as little or as much as they want, although encouraged to join in and have fun.
Theme days are also popular to celebrate local or national calendar events e.g. Easter, the Queen’s birthday etc
